Terms of Use

KeyLearn is a parental-control and gamified-learning application that lets parents manage their child's device usage through Apple's Family Controls framework, while children earn screen-time minutes and in-app KeyCoin by answering quiz questions aligned with the curriculum of the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB). Features, scope, and supported platforms may change over time.

• Only an adult (18+) who holds parental authority or legal guardianship over the child may create an account.
• Child profiles are attached to the parent account; children cannot sign up on their own, and child profiles have no email address.
• You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep your account information up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials (email and password) confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify admin@keylearn.net immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

• Device-restriction features run on Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time framework and depend on the authorization the parent grants on the device.
• You may use this authority only on the device of a child over whom you hold parental authority or guardianship; restricting other people's devices without permission is prohibited.
• Screen-time rules, restricted apps, and reward settings are entirely at the parent's discretion; assessing their suitability for your child is your responsibility.
• Technical limitations of Apple's framework (e.g. OS updates, system-level workarounds) are outside KeyLearn's control.

• KeyCoin is a virtual unit valid only within the Service; it has no monetary value, cannot be cashed out or transferred, and cannot be used outside the Service.
• Earning rates, screen-time exchange rules, and related mechanics may be changed by the Company.
• Upon account closure or termination, accumulated KeyCoin becomes void and creates no right to compensation.

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms
• Circumvent security measures, reverse engineer, attempt to access source code, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Manipulate the quiz and reward mechanics through cheating, automation (bots), or similar methods
• Overload the Service, distribute malware, or attempt to access other users' data
• Resell or reproduce the Service for commercial purposes without the Company's written permission

We may suspend or terminate your account in case of violation of these rules.

• The Service's software, design, trademarks, logos, interface, and content (except quiz content, see below) belong to the Company or are used under license; you are granted only a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right of use.
• Quiz questions are compiled from publicly available sources published by the Turkish Ministry of National Education's Directorate General of Measurement, Assessment and Examination Services (ÖDSGM); rights in that content belong to the relevant public institution, and KeyLearn claims no ownership over it.
• KeyLearn does not claim any official partnership with, endorsement by, or affiliation with MEB or its institutions.
• Apple, App Store, and Family Controls are trademarks of Apple Inc.

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation or fitness for a particular purpose.
• KeyLearn is not an educational institution; quiz content is supplementary and no academic achievement is guaranteed.
• To the maximum extent permitted by mandatory applicable law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data or loss of use).
• Subject to mandatory provisions, the Company's total liability arising from these Terms is limited to the amounts you actually paid to the Company for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability arising from willful misconduct or gross negligence.

• You may close your account at any time in the app or by writing to admin@keylearn.net.
• In case of a breach of these Terms, the Company may suspend or terminate your account with prior notice, or immediately for serious breaches.
• Upon termination, your data is deleted within the periods described in the Privacy Policy; provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) remain in effect.

The Company may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date; material changes are additionally announced via in-app notice or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Karabük, Türkiye, without prejudice to consumers' statutory rights to apply to consumer arbitration boards and consumer courts at their place of residence, or to any mandatory consumer protections of your own jurisdiction.
